Eligibility Criteria for Tamil Nadu Teachers Board:
Essential Qualifications:
Engineering: Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture with not less than sixty Percent of marks or equivalent. Provided that if the candidate has a Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture*, the candidate should possess a first class or equivalent in the appropriate branch either at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level.

Non-Engineering: A first class Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of study.
Age Requirements: Candidates should not have completed 57 years as on 01/07/2019.

Exam Fee details: The Examination fee is Rs.600/- (Rupees Six Hundred only) for all candidates except SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability. For SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability Candidates, the examination fee is Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only).

The format proforma can be downloaded from the official website http://trb.tn.nic.in. Fill in the required field given in the application format with appropriate details of qualifying degree. The duly filled form with all required certificates kept in an envelop.

Eligibility Criteria for Tamil Nadu Teachers Board:
Essential Qualifications:
i) Candidates should have Graduate degree B.A./B.Sc. with Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, History and Geography as Major subjects obtained from a recognized University.
ii) The Candidate should possess the Professional qualification ie. B.Ed degree obtained from a recognized University.
iii) The candidates not having prescribed qualifications, as on the prior date of issue of notification shall not be eligible to apply
Age Requirements:
The maximum limit (as on 01.01.2020). Relaxation is available for OBC, SC, ST, PWBD, Ex-servicemen and other categories as per Govt. of India.
Selection Method:
Procedure of selecting is based on performance during Computer Based Examination, Certificate Verification.
Application Fee details:
Fee payable Rs.250/- for SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability candidates and Rs.500/- for all other candidates.
